THE SOCK PUPPETS.
A mix of punk, alternative rock, pop and metal -yeah, you read that right- The Sock Puppets play with lightning speed and a force of energy that mirrors a street race with Vin Diesel and/or Paul Walker behind the wheel. In fact, we're pretty sure that if either of these gentlemen were to actually get behind the wheel and drive to a show, they'd think The Sock Puppets were pretty kick-ass. The band's music is a wide range of rock with influences including (but definitely not limited to) Weezer, Ben Folds, No Doubt, Green Day, Sum 41, Jimmy Eat World, Aerosmith, Van Halen and sometimes, but not always...Boston. Take two parts hard rock, 3/4 cup of angst, 1 tablespoon 80's hair band, a pinch of geek and stir. Garnish with slice of orange. Chill overnight and serve.
