The Craig Smith Band is a songwriting and studio recording band that plays various musical styles in an interesting and unique way. Their music has a sound reminiscent of the "WoodStock" era transported to the "future”. Craig Smith and Steve Capps blend melodic instrumental sounds with incredibly smooth lyrics to produce this masterful album.. On the first CD, “THEN AND NOW” There are eleven songs with great variety. Craig plays these instruments: Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano and clavi, wood drum, drums, and harmonica and sings some mean vocals. The smoothest of bass guitar is laid down by his long time friend and schoolmate Steve “THE CAPMASTER” Capps. This self-release is one to give a definite listen to. | |
