Hailing from Detroit, The Ted Bundys also spent several years based in Atlanta in the early and mid 90's and still have a deep affection for the city and the Atlanta music scene. In the past reviewers have called them "The Zappa of Metal", which can be largely attributed to The Bundys satirical lyrics and genre defying music.Drawing heavily from the punk and metal music from the past The Bundys combine that with ethnic oriented rhythms with a very heavy emphasis on percussion and orchestration. The Ted Bundys are the brainchild of Aleister 639 (pronounced six three nine) who in the studio performs most of the instruments.Live shows tend to be a Musical version of Saturday Night Live with Mr. 639 aided by backing musicicians and actors who act out the songs and dialogues.Featuring such original characters as "The Crack Zombie" and "Misstress Anne The Psycho Bitch", you never know when George W. or Tipper Gore might show up as part of the show also.
