Style(s): Modern Rock, Metal/Hard Rock, Rock Booking: 305.989.6643 Influence(s): Sevendust, Staind, Incubus
Radio*Day is the new name in Modern Rock. The group is a collaborated effort between friends Sonny (lead/rhythm guitars), JDagger (drums), Jav (bass), and Stephens (lead vocals, rhythm guitar). Each one brings his musical experience to the band to create, in such a short time, the sound that has established them as a group to be reckoned with. It was certainly a common vision that brought them together. “The four of us share common bond in the music we create. We want to encourage people to think for themselves, and to get back to the strength of what music stands for — a voice for those that don’t have one.”
Radio*Day delivers a high-energy visual and musical performance that is marked by heavy and melodic guitars, a tight pounding rhythm section, and emotional vocals, that creates an intense sound. Undoubtedly, their live show is fueled by a passion and desire that will not be soon forgotten. From the first to the last note, they are there to share a piece of their musical world.
Radio*Day’s lyrics give you a deeper sense into what is at the center of their heart. Listen closely and you’ll hear the words that breathe life into their music. The group takes this matter to heart and desire that their lyrics go beyond the listener’s ear. They believe that music is a vehicle for hope. Their creed is simple to understand: “We keep it personal but also positive," they say. There’s enough depressing messages already out there. If you listen closely to our music, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.”
