Magnetic Flux is a hip shaking, thrust pounding, love making, tuned up, jacked up, any kind of make up, rock-n-roll machine. Magnetic Flux creates music that is fresh, familiar, unique, and to the point. Music you want to turn up, and turn up loud! Music that can stand the test of time.
The idea started in beginning of 2001 in New York City, in a recording studio in Hells Kitchen, where singer/songwriter Bobby was writing new material. By the end of 2001, after creating 40 songs, it was time to put the band together. Bobby went back to his home town in Kentucky and started the search for the guys that have the ability and image, to showcase the next rock-n-roll dynasty. First to enter the Flux was Christian. Guitar player, vocalist, and writer. He has a charismatic presence that flows into his guitar playing, that can be compared to Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, and Tony Iommi. His understanding of harmony and melody, allows Magnetic Flux to have a signature sound that you can identify immediately. Second to enter was Chico. Chico is a drummer who knows no limits. Chico has a great scence of structure, and his ability to be solid and accurate, keeps the Magnetic Flux at its strongest, creating a back beat that is as intense and aggresive as a midnight thunderstorm. Last to enter the Flux was David. He takes control of his bass and lays down the groove and keeps it tight and locked in. David brings an incredible magnitude of feeling and attitude, that completes the circle of Magnetic Flux.
Magnetic Flux is a rock-n-roll band that has power, energy and drive with a dedication to the fans. Magnetic Flux creates a positive energy, aggressive message, and a take no prisoner attitude. A rock-n-roll band, that can take charge and entertain.
