Jimsonweed began in the beginning of 2002 in New York City. Band members have played with the likes of Marc Ford (Black Crowes), Audley Freed (Black Crowes), Johnny Neel (Allman brothers), Buddy Miles (Band of Gypsies), Matt Abts (Gov't Mule), Mike Farris (Screamin Cheetah Wheelies), DJ Logic (Medeski, Martin, and Wood), and Chris Joyner (Sheryl Crow), David Chevan and Warren Byrd (Afro-Semitic Experience) and Tony "Thunder" Smith (Lou Reed). Compiling a wide range of influence, Jimsoweed has successfully created a sound parallel to none. |
