Imprint Hails from the small town of Richmond, Rhode Island. Formed in January of 2000, Imprint is ready to take on the world. Imprint's musical styles range from simple catchy guitars with solid "stuck in your head" vocal melodies, to ripping and rhythmic guitar riffs with MEAN screaming vocals and syncopated drums. Imprint is a four-piece band comprised of: drums, Chris Hayes; bass, Chad Maggs; guitar, Gary Potter; vocals, Jaymz Iacono.
Imprint has played as many shows as possible in the Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey areas, and is always looking for new areas to play. They have played such clubs as: Met Café in RI, New Wave café in MA, Jarrod's Place in MA, Station in RI, CBGB's in NY, Aj’s Tavern in NJ, and the Ele-n-gee in CT . Some of the bands they have played with are: Eastcide, MA; Kobalt, MA; Soulshed, RI; Throe, MA; Killswitch Engage, MA; and Quiet Riot . They have also been played on many of the local radio shows. With the release Of “Upper Memory Denied” Imprint plans to move to the regional/national level.
Imprint has a full-length CD with eight songs, plus one extra acoustic piece, hidden at the end of the record. “Upper Memory Denied” ranges from soft 'radio tunes' to heavier more intense songs. The CD was recorded and produced by Bob Cowley at Alchemy studios in Westerly, RI.. The release Of “Upper Memory Denied” is February 23rd 2001. Imprint will promote the CD with as many shows as possible. With a lot of hard work, Imprint plans on taking the love for music, and turning it into a way of life.
