FAMOUS began by playing clubs in New England and NYC, building up a loyal following, while blasting their music along the East coast. After meeting an Englishman in New York with his own record label (Blue Couch Records), FAMOUS went into the studio to record their first record in late 2001. The result was a collection of songs, more raw than U2 and more melodic than Oasis yet delivered with a maturity normally associated with the 'really' famous names. From the first beats of the drum-fuelled intro of Live Forever to the poignant lines of the acoustic ballad Hurricane, these songs will stay with you well after the CD has stopped playing. | |
