AISLING started their arsenal early in the year 1998. Founding members Paul Ward (guitar), Adrian Arellano (bass), Rick Murphy (drums), and Luke Wagnon (guitar) teamed up to build their foundation. They immediately started to write. "The songs just flow when you have so many talented musician's thinking as one mind" says guitarist Paul Ward. Though the writing process was nonstop, AISLING was not yet complete. The search for the right front man ensued. Audition after audition AISLING'S search became more tedious. Finally after countless months, and countless singers, AISLING found Miguel Briones to take duty as the lead vocalist completing what is now AISLING. AISLING is Miguel Briones (vocals), Paul Ward (guitar), Luke Wagnon (guitar), Adrian Arellano (bass), Rick Murphy (drums). These five boys create some of the most diverse, dynamic heart felt music any person can hear and experience. Influences ranging from HUM to APHEX TWIN to FAR. To add to the already talented team their experience has already surpassed that of most. Members have previously shared the stage with such acts as Sevendust, Suicidal Tendencies, Pitchshifter, Pissing Razors, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Gravity Kills, L7, Puya, Hatebreed, Caroline Spine, Papa Roach and most recently played along side The Long Beach Dub All Stars on MTV'S Caffeine tour. "These boys can rock any somnambulist awake and still lay down some funky beats," What's Up Magazine. AISLING continues their ongoing attack into people's heads by relentlessly touring in the U.S. with an occasional return to their hometown of El Paso, TX. It's hard to describe the emotion felt in hearing a song created by this adrenaline filled group. Nonetheless, AISLING will always create music with intense feelings that any person can relate to and good music that will always move you.
